BARGAIN hunters are sprinting to their nearest Asda stores, desperate to check out the new Starbucks mugs that have hit the shelves.
So if you’re a Starbucks fan, know someone who is, or are struggling with ideas for stocking fillers, you’ve come to the right place.
Not only are the stunning mugs great for a warm hot chocolate and marshmallows on a wintery evening, but they’re sure to leave many impressed if they opened one this Christmas.
Savvy shoppers have taken to social media to show off the cheap mugs, which were put on shelves for only £1 - yes, you heard that correctly.
Asda shopper Donna Blossom Hill shared a post on Facebook, on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, a private group with a staggering 2.3 million members, to show off the bargain buy mugs.
Alongside images of the mugs, as well as some cheap instant coffee sachets that are also available in Starbucks’ iconic Christmas flavour - toffee nut latte - she said: “Asda Toffee Nut Latte (box [of] six) scanned at £1.50 not £2.

Donna shared her post just 13 hours ago, but it has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly racked up 948 likes and over 1,100 comments.
However, if you thought £1 was cheap, it turns out that in some stores, the mugs are scanning for an even cheaper price when you get to the till.

Another savvy shopper, Sophie Lauren, took to the Facebook group to show off her purchase, which she was lucky enough to nab for just 1p.
Thrilled at the epic reduction, Sophie didn’t just buy one - instead she swiped 10.
She shared a picture of her receipt, alongside her star mug, proving that the Starbucks buy was really reduced down to just a penny.
She wrote: “Just been to Asda (Preston), these cups are scanning at £0.01 on scan and go.”
Despite her mega haul, Sophie later confirmed: “There were quite a few left on the shelf.”
Facebook users were left stunned at the massive discount and many were desperate to get their hands on the brilliant buy.
Shoppers took to the comments to express this, whilst many tagged their friends and loved ones to alert them to the Asda discount.
One person said: “Oooh I love Starbucks! I'd love one of these!”
Another added: “I want one.”
A third commented: “Need to check.”
At the same time, someone else tagged a friend and wrote: “And we thought £1 was good.”
Whilst another bargain hunter penned: “I'm going this morning.”
However, one shopper later claimed: “Apparently an offer when you buy two Starbucks coffee products.
