BARCELONA are prepared to write off £35million by listening to offers for Philippe Coutinho this summer, it's claimed.
Coutinho has struggled to make an impact at the Nou Camp following his £105m move to the club from Liverpool last season.
And Goal report that Barca have now decided to make the Brazilian available - so long as someone comes up with a bid around £70m.
That would see the Spanish champions taking a huge hit on the 26-year-old who was signed as the long-term replacement for Neymar.
Manchester United have been linked with making a shock move to take the playmaker back to the Premier League as part of their rebuilding plans this summer.
But though the interest remains, the article claims a switch to Liverpool's big rivals is unlikely because Coutinho would rather not move back to England.
One of the reasons he was so set on a move to Barca in the first place was that his family had struggled to adapt to life in England.
ONLY OPTION
So that makes a move to United a long shot, with Paris Saint-Germain said to be the most likely option available.
The big problem for Coutinho - and Barca - is finding a club which has the financial power to be able to afford his transfer fee and wages.
Coutinho is earning £1.8m a month before tax at the Nou Camp, and few clubs outside of the Premier League would be able to go close to matching those figures.
PSG are one of the few who could though as yet it appears they have not made contact with Barca about striking a deal.

But Barca are happy to have it known they are willing to do business in the hope it flushes out PSG to come up with a package to get a deal done.
It throws up the potential for Coutinho to be signed by a club as a replacement for Neymar for the second time in his career.
For there remains serious interest from Real Madrid in taking the Brazilian to the Bernabeu in a huge summer deal, which could also help PSG satisfy Uefa's Financial Fair Play regulations.
