EastEnders fans left disappointed after BBC announces that Friday nights episode is cancelled

EASTENDERS fans were left disappointed on Thursday night when the BBC announced that there will be NO Friday night episode of the soap.

Tonight saw a string of dramatic events kick off, from Louise and her bullying gang of “mates” leaking Shakil’s nude pictures, to Denise’s feud with her sister Kim coming to a dramatic climax during a kitchen table showdown.

However as the duff-duff’s kicked in the BBC’s voiceover informed viewers that they will have to wait until Monday night to discover what happens next as the soap will not be aired in its usual 8pm slot on Friday.

The location for tomorrow night is going to be somewhat more exotic than Albert Square, as the channel will be showing an hour-long version of Spy in the Wild, the nature show that uses animatronic creatures to get up close to wildlife.

However, telly lovers seem to be more interested in the wild goings on closer to home.

One commented: “Why have the BBC replaced EastEnders for a boring documentary tomorrow night?”

While another added: “No #EastEnders tommorow? Why not get it sorted @BBCOne this isn't good enough”

And someone else stated that they’re Friday was ruined “@bbceastenders just had my Friday feeling wiped learning that there's no Eastenders tomorrow!”

Fans shouldn’t feel too let down though, as next Thursday they’ll be treated to a double bill of the show to give them their sufficient Phil fix.
