A FASHION fan has revealed that they bought two pairs of almost identical trousers from H&M and Marks & Spencer and settled on one clear winner.
The stylish social media user said they were keen to try out this year’s summer trend – linen trousers – and realised that both H&M and Marks & Spencer were selling very similar ones.
What’s more, the fashion items, which come in a variety of colours, are both the exact same price at £25.
So TikToker @ighyvx modelled them both and then gave her honest review and verdict.
She uploaded a video to the social media platform and encouraged others to run to M&S as they were the runaway winner.
Alongside footage of her unpackaging a pair of white and black linen trousers, she said: “Your sign to ditch H&M and buy M&S pants.”

She then revealed that they were her number one choice for two reasons.
@ighyvx continued: “M&S is where it’s at.
“Muchhhh better than h&m quality and the same price!!”
And it wasn’t just the fashion fan who maintains that M&S versions – called linen rich wide leg trousers – are a cut above other versions on the high street.

Plenty of other savvy shoppers took to the comment section of the video to have their say too.
And it seemed they were all in agreement that people have been discounting M&S style offerings for too long.
One wrote: “People sleep on M&S.
“These linen trousers are such good quality.”
