Horrified shopper felt physically sick at receiving 40 Club L London playsuit with blood

A WOMAN has revealed how she felt physically sick after ordering a jumpsuit online which had a “blood stain” in the crotch area.

The 25-year-old from London, who wishes to remain anonymous, ordered the £40 one-shoulder item from online retailer Club L London, and was “horrified” when it arrived.

The woman said she had ordered the cape sleeve item for her cousin’s engagement dinner on their holiday abroad this week.

Speaking to Fabulous Digital, she said: “I opened the package and was really excited to have the jumpsuit. As I was trying it on I noticed a stain around the crotch area.

“I looked more closely and I realised it was a dark brown, orangey stain that was clearly someone has worn when on their period and then washed the jumpsuit and sent it back.

“My mind was blown. I was shocked. It was so disgusting.

“I felt so sick it was disgusting. I literally washed my hands a hundred times.”

The woman said she immediately contacted Club L London and shared images of the jumpsuit as it had arrived.

She said: “I sent them pictures and a complaint. All they offered to do is to refund me the jumpsuit and to send it back to the warehouse.

“They didn’t even offer a replacement of the jumpsuit.

“They were barely apologetic. The pictures were absolutely gross. You’d assume a company would give you a voucher to spend as a sorry.”

The fashion lover had originally ordered a size eight version of the jumpsuit, but had been forced to send it back and get a size 10 as the “sizing was wrong on the website”.

She said: “It was unusual and really pretty. It seemed really elegant.”

The “blood-stained” item arrived on Friday, and she said she won’t have time to find a replacement outfit before the holiday tomorrow.

The upset shopper added: “I’m not a regular customer but it has completely put me off and I would never order from them again.

“It’s so unhygienic, it makes me question how clean the items are. If I was to buy lingerie or a bikini I wouldn’t be sure it was clean.”

Fabulous Digital contacted Club L London for comment and was told an "investigation" would take place once the jumpsuit had been returned.
