COULD the next big thing for brides be see-through gowns?
Australian wedding dress designer Grace Loves Lace has launched a “naked” wedding dress.
The sheer dress features white lace with a nude underlay – giving a “naked” effect.
The brand’s website says: “The Alexandra is for the woman who is a natural showstopper – she wants to look striking and feminine, sophisticated and effortless.
“Made for the iconic GLL woman – she has soul, passion, confidence and substance.”
The daring dress retails for £1,493 and can be bought with either a nude lining or an ivory option – for a more “traditional” look.
Grace Loves Lace designer Meghan Ziems told MailOnline: “Nude tone lining is sensual, adventurous and unexpected, whilst the traditional colour matching of ivory or white is fresh, classic and more traditional.”
And, although “naked” effect dresses may be pretty new when it comes to the bridal industry, similar dresses have been growing in popularity over recent years – with many celebs wearing seriously sheer dresses on the red carpet.
Grace Loves Lace have established themselves as one of the biggest bridal brands in the world and are famous for being the brand behind the “world’s most pinned wedding dress.”
Would you strut down the aisle in a sheer frock?
