WHILE some people may be content with some simple highlights, others love to follow any new beauty trend when colouring their hair.
The latest pastel style to sweep Instagram is rose BROWN hair, and the look is surprisingly wearable.
Most pastel looks are done on already light hair – platinum styles can cling to bright or silver colours much easier than darker hair.
So that blondes don’t get all the fun, this pretty look can be done on a deeper brunette shade, to create a warm, rich colour.
It doesn’t require a huge amount of bleaching, unlike most recent hair trends, and Thi Thao Tu, the hair stylist behind the look, told Allure that he uses a combination of bleach mixed with Olaplex treatment, and red and brown dyes.
It can be done all over the head for a deep colour, or woven into the hair in a balayage effect.
The result is a stunning pink tone, which is flattering on most people, and is more subtle than some of the slightly wackier trends this year.
