The Stone Roses 'to headline Reading and Leeds festival' after cryptic lemon logo appears in both ci

FANS have gone into meltdown today after two cryptic clues have been placed that could mean The Stone Roses are going to headline Leeds and Reading Festivals.

The band, who shot to fame at the end of the 80s, have an iconic lemon logo, which has appeared in both cities.

The legendary group, headed up by Ian Brown, have displayed the emblem before in the run-up to major announcements.

The lemon appeared in Manchester before they announced shows at the Etihad Stadium last summer.

Now fans have excitedly taken to Twitter to speculate after pictures of Lemon logo were tweeted.

The band have remained popular, despite previously splitting for over 10 years.

In the summer, a jar of air from a Stone Roses gig attracted bids of more than £65,000 on eBay.

The seller listed the bizarre item on the online auction site after the air was captured from the band’s homecoming concert in June.

It was taken while the Roses played their classic 1992 hit I Am The Resurrection at the Etihad Stadium.

The seller, from Deeside, North Wales, claims “All the atmosphere, anticipation and ecstasy of 60,000 people singing their hearts out – captured forever in this glass jar.”
