Where is Nadiya Bakes filmed? Locations for Bake Off winner's show

NADIYA Hussain rose to fame after she triumphed on The Great British Bakeoff in 2015.

Nadiya stars in her own show Nadiya Bakes, in which she re-works some familiar recipes and hopes to inspire others to rustle up their own delicious treats.

Where is Nadiya Bakes filmed?

Nadiya Bakes was filmed in Devon by the Bake Off winner and a camera crew.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the chef relocated to the south coast for two weeks, in which she had no contact with anyone other than the camera crew.

She told Radio Times: "We had no contact with anyone apart from each other for two weeks.

"It was lovely, because to be working felt so invigorating, but it was weird, because we were social distancing and everyone had masks on."

What baked goods does Nadiya make?

Nadiya makes a lot of classics but with modern twists.

On the BBC Two website you can see short clips with some of her bakes from the show plus full recipes.

Chocolate Fondant

This was part of her baking on a budget episode.

The baking time is only 17-18 minutes on 160 degrees to get the perfect gooey centre.

She suggests eating this quickly as it will continue to cook once out the oven.

Potato rosti quiche

This one requires more prep time, but it serves six so you're likely to have leftovers for lunch the next day.

The recipe is here.

Brioche Wreath

Some of Nadiya's bakes are centered around sharing, and this is one of them.

She serves the wreath with camembert to make it comforting and indulgent.

She's also baked:

  • Onion pretzels
  • Baked brownies
  • Flan
  • Noodles
  • Pavlova
  • Scone pizza
  • Blueberry cheesecake
